U.S Department of Agriculture says Applegate Chicken Nuggets Recalled for Over Likely Plastic Contamination
The Food Safety and Inspection Service of the Department of Agriculture said on Saturday, that Perdue Foods LLC is recalling approximately 4,500 pounds of Applegate Naturals Chicken Nuggets which might have been contaminated with plastic materials.
The recall is related to chicken nuggets which are sold in seven states with a likely connection to plastic contamination. The recall is connected to around 4,530 pounds of nuggets manufactured by the Gainesville, Georgia based company, sold under the Applegate Farms brand.
