In a $112m deal Leighton buys out Indian partner

The company said in a statement to the ASX this morning, the transaction will be recognised in this financial year and will see Leighton's net profit after tax take a $70 million hit.

According to a press release the sale should close before March 31.

Subway to open 40 shops across Ireland

This announcement was made by the sandwich maker at the opening of its branch in Douglas in Cork.

Subway currently operates 117 outlets countrywide.

The company has plans for a further 40 stores in Ireland in 2014.
