Bank lending rates cut by UAE Central BankA two-percentage cut point in the lending rate to 3 percent by the Central Bank of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) was announced on Wednesday.

A report issued in this concern also informed about the lowering of the rate on its re-purchase of certificate of deposit (REPO) from 2 percent to 1.5 percent with effect from Wednesday.

Avinash Bhosale, a Pune-based businessman has been ordered by the Bombay High Court to submit details of all of his accounts in India and abroad, within a time span of a week. This comes after the court was informed about the extent of his undisclosed and unauthorized banking transactions in India and abroad by the Enforcement Directorate (ED).

First female judge appointed in UAE
