The ultra-luxurious Emirates Palace in Abu Dhabi is now offering a camel burger that will come with 24 carat gold flakes for the tourists.
Chef Carmine Pecoraro said that the 200-grammepatty is made with minced leg meat and includes cumin, garlic powder and onion powder. He said that the party is cooked over a gas-fired charcoal grill and is served in a sesame bun with lettuce and tomatoes. The chef uses halloumi cheese in the unique burger instead of western style cheese.
The Today show, is a popular talk show in America and it was broadcasted live from Abu Dhabi’s Corniche on US channel NBC. The show was hosted by Al Roker, the much admired co-anchor and field reporter.
Many of Abu Dhabi’s residents flocked to get a chance to appear on the show forgetting the scorching heat.

In an announcement on Tuesday, the Abu Dhabi Airports said that in the first half of the year, it achieved record commercial sales amounting to Dh 707.6 million. That's a whooping jump of 10.9% when compared to the initial six months of last year.

A new report revealed that the residential rents in the UAE capital Abu Dhabi has increased by three percent in the second quarter this year. The report says that the rent is further expected to rise in this year owing to a limited supply of new units.
Tony Douglas, the Abu Dhabi Airports chief executive will be leaving his post for greener pastures as he has been appointed as chief executive of Defence Equipment & Support (DE&S). He will be leading the procurement of the UK Defence Ministry. Douglas will join the new post in September.
