Agriculture deal to be signed between UAE’s Janan and Egypt
Submitted by Maninder Singh on Wed, 08/05/2009 - 14:03Tuesday, the official news agency MENA reported that a deal would be signed by a United Arab Emirates Company with Egypt, with the aim to cultivate 100,000 feddans, about 42,000 hectares (103 acres), of land with wheat, corn and feed.
The agency said that, next week, a deal would be signed by UAE agricultural investment firm Janan with Egypt's Agriculture Ministry, for the project which will expand until 2015.
Al Futtaim invests in Egypt and Morocco

The company is studying opportunities in Qatar, Abu Dhabi and Libya.
The sources said that in February 2007, Al Futtaim Capital has rolled out the $500m real estate development fund to focus on large-scale urban mixed-use developments in the Middle East and North Africa.
Hesham Tala'at Mustafa Arrested For Being Involved In Suzan Tamim Murder Case
Submitted by Aabid Hussain on Fri, 09/05/2008 - 14:25Egypt’s Prosecutor-General informed on Tuesday, that there could be hand of Hesham Tala'at Mustafa, a businessman and lawmaker from Egypt's ruling party, in the murder case of 30 year old Lebanese singer, Suzan Tamim, who was found dead on July 28 at a Jumeirah Beach Residence apartment in Dubai.
Mustafa has been ordered by Abdul Majid Mahmoud to go under trail since the key suspect in the murder case said that Mustafa paid him $2 million to kill Tamim. Mustafa is the chairman of one of Egypt's biggest construction companies.
