Private toll roads are not the solution to the traffic problems

The government of UK has warned that the private toll roads are not the cost effective solution to the increasing traffic problems. According to the report of the Campaign for Better Transport (CBT), the only private toll road of UK, M6 Toll has not cut congestion significantly.

According to the reports of `Financial Times' the Chancellor of UK Mr. George Osborne wants to cut the jobs by 25% at the Treasury department to 1000 from 1350 in next four years under the process of natural attrition of the government.

Colchester authorities will no longer let pubs, clubs and shops sell booze to underage drinkers and if they are found doing so then they could face a temporary closure.
According to council officials and the police here, the town is reeling under the problem of underage drinking and people boozing too much.

Halton residents will soon motivate others to quit smoking as they get geared up to become the stars of an anti-smoking campaign.
An advertising drive to show how former smokers in Halton kicked the habit is being launched by the NHS Halton’s Support Stop Smoking service.
