Robot Kaspar made to help autistic children

In Britain in an attempt to help autistic children, a human-sized robot that looks like a human being has been made by scientists.
The robot has been named Kaspar and he can wave his arms, can smile at kids, frown, blink and also laugh. Children will be more comfortable with Kaspar as silicone patches cover him and this will make him feel like skin.

Cases of cancer doubles in women since 1970s

According to figures, there are clear indications that since the mid-1970s, there has been a rise in lung cancer rates among women over 60.
There was a rise of 190 per 100,000 in 2008 from 88 per 100,000 in 1975 according to Cancer Research UK figures.
Due to a dip in smoking rates, CRUK stated that there was also a fall in lung cancer among men.
NHS patients to be benefited by £775m health research funding

NHS patients will now get benefited by research for which £775m have been announced by the government, ministers stated.
Key health areas like dementia, heart problems and cancer will be stressed on and over the next five years, this money will be spent on these areas.
While giving an example of this, a computer programme that detects signs of Alzheimer’s by suing brain scans was stated.
Dentist Gets Suspended For His Derogatory Conduct

Matthew Walton, a dentist, was struck off for repeatedly breaking wind and burping in front of patients and staff.
The General Dental Council believed that such conduct deserved an immediate suspension of registration which means that legally he would not be able to work in the UK unless he appeals.
