According to a recent snapshot of the state's health service, every day another 20 patients are added to Victoria's elective surgery waiting list. Due to this, since last year, an additional 7,000 patients have joined this continuously increasing queue.

Varied researches have proved that sunbeds are hazardous to health and can even cause skin cancer and thus NSW had put a ban on their use. As per a new report, the Victorian government is now being asked by the Victorian Co-operative Oncology Group (VCOG) to go on the same path.
