In a recent report, it has been revealed that there is now going to be a new mandatory registry for every breast implant that takes place in the U. S. This has been done after there have been cases all over the world, where women have suffered complications due to faulty implants. It is essential that all women register themselves with this new committee, so that they are safe from any malfunction in their implants and know for sure that what they are doing will not harm them.

It will also be good to register, incase there are any malfunctions recorded. This is being done after the French manufacturer of PIP implants has accepted having used faulty material in the implants, just because it was cheap. The company further added though that it was not known it would harm the women, they had just opted for it in order to invest less and earn more.

The registry system would be of great value and many officials agree to the enforcement of the same. The drawbacks of implants from particular firms could also be tracked, and they could be notified about the same. Currently, there are a lot of problems being faced by women who have got implants made by the PIP firm, as they have turned irritable due to the cheap products used in it.

" We would have known if Mentor ones break sooner or later than Allergan's," If we had had registries, we would have known years ago if it's true that PIP implants break sooner”, revealed Diana Zuckerman, the U. S. National Research Center for Women & Families, President.

There is need for proper rules to be set up, so that the standards of the products being used by the manufacturers are checked for authenticity, and such incidences don’t happen in the future.
