In another case of fame ruining a person, Whitney Houston, the legendary singer and mentor for many modern day singers, has passed away, leaving behind a trail of questions, which need to be answered.
The reasons for her sudden death, which took the entire world by shock, and put her daughter in so much stress that she had to be hospitalized, are still being investigated upon. Some claims she died of drowning in the bath tub, while others reveal it was due to a drug overdose. She had been previously battling her wars with drugs, and had to visit the rehab as many as three times in her life.
She began all well with humbling music and performances that the world will remember. It is however very sad and strange to see how success and fame might seem to leave a person crestfallen and withering on the inside. She was sad and depressed and addicted to drugs. This led to her downfall. It took toll on her health as well. She battled it all for a long time, until finally she hit rock bottom.
Drugs seemed to take the better of her health and career as well in the long run. Hr voice began to crack, because of excessive smoking. She couldn't focus in her work, due to her addictions; it was a total ruin she had run on herself. A failed marriage and the pressures to live up t the standards she had set for herself might've been reasons for her downfall.
This throws light on the commanding prowess of drugs. They can hallucinate people to such levels that one would not want anything else in life more than them. They break a person into bits and ruin their lives. Drug addiction has sadly robbed the music industry of one of its strongest pillars, and left mourning people behind.
