It was further revealed that the drug is being circulated to various health centers in the country, but it isn’t clear yet, how big this racket is and whether or not it has harmed anyone so far. “We are working with the F. D. A. and law enforcement to aid their evaluations, determine the source of the counterfeit drug, and prevent its further distribution. The counterfeit product is not safe or effective and should not be used”, said Roche and Genentech in a statement recently.

It is essential that the medicines are bought from proper stores, and they need to be checked for the ‘Genentech’ label on their packing.
