It was revealed by Zaldy S. Tan, the MD, MPH, of the Easton Center for Alzheimer's disease Research, from the University of California that those people, who have lower levels of Omega-3 fatty acids in their food, would tend to age faster.

Eating fish is the most readily available source of the Omega-3 acid and it tends to replenish the body. It will help in increasing the immunity of a person and also help in sharpening the memory of the person.

"People with lower blood levels of omega-3 fatty acids had lower brain volumes that were equivalent to about two years of structural brain aging”, said Professor S. Tan.
