China Mobile Puts High Hopes On Its 4G NetworkChina Mobile Ltd., which is the world’s biggest phone company in terms of subscribers, figured the best performance among Chinese phone companies in the U. S. this year. This comes as a big boon for the company which has been eyeing customers by providing a faster wireless network to them.

The Hongkong-based carrier is now focusing on the fourth-generation wireless network and expanding it, in order to lure subscribers on to its network. There is a huge demand for faster connectivity among customers due to the increase in the sale of Smart phones, which use data services to download videos and games.

Chairman Wang Jianzhou stated that China Mobile is looking to expand its 4G coverage from six cities to nine cities. The company didn’t do well as far as 3G network is concerned, as there is the availability of superior CDMA technology in the country. Also, it is the only carrier in the country that doesn’t provide iPhone on its network. With the company looking to complete the deal soon and with the upgradation of its network, it is being speculated that profits are bound to go up.

China Mobile has high hopes for the 4G network and currently, it has outplayed most of its competitors due to its better connectivity.
