HTC One X to Go On Sale in UK This Week
Taiwanese smartphone maker HTC has been reeling under a lot of pressure due to the stringent competition in the android smartphone market. The competitors like Samsung, LG and Motorola have been giving it a tight fight with a slew of smartphones being launched every month. But, HTC turned many heads towards itself by announcing its new flag ship phone HTC One X.
The new quad-core smartphone is now slated for launch in UK boasting of exhilarating features. Powered with Nvidia Tegra 3 GPU it would be first of its kind in the UK market. A large 4.7-inch HD display with 720 x 1280 pixels would bring out vibrant colors along with booming beats sounds incorporated into the handset. An 8 MP camera with autofocus and Led flash, capable of capturing 3264 x 2488 pixel pictures adds to its supremacy. The odds of HTC becoming a developer’s favorite are big, as there are very few devices in the market with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich OS.
The other version that is being launched along with it is HTC One S, which is just a downgrade of the powerhouse. It would also come with a quad core processor, but with a smaller 4.3 super AMOLED screen display having 540 x
One X would be available through T-Mobile, Vodafone and Orange for a monthly plan of £41 for two years, while One S would be available for £36 per month for a 24 month plan. It would also be available on O2, which has yet to decide on the pricing. The Quad core Smartphone would surely give dual core smart phones like Apple’s iPhone 4S, Samsung’s Galaxy S2 a run for their money.
