Gopala Krishna, General Secretary of Andhra Pradesh Homoeopathy Association said that the field is today not considered as a scientific procedure because the professionals believe that the ingredients of treatment should be the same substances that actually cause the disease.

“Since the ingredients of the medicine are very potent they are diluted to a large extent. Sometimes the dilution extends to the point where the presence of original ingredients in the medicine cannot be discovered by any available scientific procedures,” Mr. Krishna explained.

Some other commentators believe that homoeopathy relies on mere placebo effect (Placebo effect is: when a patient is prescribed an ineffective medicine but the psychological effects of the medicine cures the illness). Then why are many people getting physical relief by its medicine since last 200 years?

Experts suggest that people should maintain a judicial balance between homoeopathy and allopathy as this approach can help them improve their health to the best.
