No drugs other than marijuana found Rudy Eugene’s system

No drugs other than marijuana found Rudy Eugene’s systemMedical examiners have found no drugs other than marijuana in the system of Rudy Eugene - the Florida man who last month chewed off the face of a homeless man in a zombie-like cannibal attack.

On May 26, 31-year-old Eugene took his clothes off along the causeway from Miami Beach and attacked 65-year-old Ronald Poppo in a ghastly, long-lasting attack, and chewed chunks off Poppo’s face.

The disgusting scene was captured by a Miami Herald security camera. A police officer who found Eugene chewing chunks off Poppo’s face shot him dead.

The Miami-Dade Medical Examiner’s office said they didn’t find any street drugs, alcohol, prescription drugs or any adulterants in Eugene’s body.

Miami-Dade Medical Examiner’s office also sought the help of an outside forensic toxicology reference lab, which also not found any drugs other than marijuana in Eugene’s body.

The office said in a statement, “Within the limits of current technology by both laboratories, marijuana is the only drug identified in the body of Mr. Rudy Eugene.”

Eugene’s girlfriend, Rikkia Cross, claims that Eugene’s actions were the result of some paranormal power that afflicted him.
