If to describe about the looks of original PlayStation 3 then it was not less than a monster. It is not the personal opinion, but a sum up of experts and general population and that too in a single word.

Experts could not believe that Sony has designed such a piece, and there was no doubt that the play station was a complete flop in the market. Sony officials and especially, Sony designing team seems to have understood the fact and this is the reason that they have worked hard to recreate the design of the play station.

The new Play station is better than the last one, and is slimmer also. All these and more factors have led Sony to register growth in the sales. It shall, however, be noted that yet again, Sony has been feeling a slump in the sales.

Experts have suggested that it is the time when Sony should decrease the price of new play station. Prices should be dipped to such an extent that momentum is maintained between the current play station and upcoming play station.

"We haven't announced anything new on PS3 in terms of hardware revisions”, said Shuhei Yoshida, who is working as an executive at Sony.
