Women Not having Much Say While taking a Decision about Family Planning

Women Not having Much Say While taking a Decision about Family Planning There are hundreds and thousands of women who are not able to take an informed decision about family planning in the developing countries across the world. The conditions are such worse in some countries that women need written approval from their spouse to show it to doctors so they could take doctors advice on family planning.

After knowing such things, the UK government and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, are going to hold a conference in London today. They will be trying to solve the condition by helping women with an aid of more than £1bn.

If not more then there are 24 million girls and women, who would be needing help on the same. Melinda Gates was of the view that they were thinking to take such step for a long time, as whenever they visited developing countries and interacted with women.

All of them were of the view that they do want to access contraceptives, so that they could decide when to have children. Melinda further affirmed that informed choice will obviously lead to the development of a better community.

"I'm hopeful that the London Summit on Family Planning our foundation is co-hosting with the UK's Department for International Development will galvanise a global movement", said Melinda.
