As per reports, it has been revealed that a free maternity is being organized at Cumberland County’s Headquarters Library. The event will be organized on August 4 2012 from 10 a. m. to 1 p. m.

The event will have lecture sessions from experts and people from nonprofit organizations. In addition, it has also been revealed that ‘the Big Latch On’ event will also be organized, in order to celebrate the World Breast-feeding Week.

The later event will give an opportunity to women to break the existing world record of breast feeding. The events have been organized by two authorities and that being La Leche League from Fayetteville and the second one is the Breast-feeding Coalition from Cumberland County.

Officials known to the matter were of the view that women, who will be taking part in Big Latch On event, will have to be at the venue by 10:30 a. m. All the women then will breast feed their babies and will try and make world record of collective breast feeding at one place.

"We try to get the moms to sign into the program while they are pregnant and get in contact with them and get the information”, said Marian Kuczero, who is an official from an International Board, which deals in Lactation services.
