This 55–year old woman accidentally slipped during her working hours last year and her head hit hard, due to which she endured a minor traumatic brain injury. The injury ultimately resulted in retrograde amnesia.

The condition has left her to think that she is a young woman of 34 years and as she memorizes, she believes that her young son and daughter are infants. She has gone back to the time of 1990s.

Former home manager Kay Delaney asserted that she is quite amazed to look at her aged face in the mirror and has no idea what happened with her during the past two decades.

She asserted that it is almost an unbearable sense of guilt as she cannot even remember when her son was born, who is now 20. She stated that it is simply cannot be describe as to how it feels when the feeling of motherhood is completely lost.

Mother to three, Kay finds it hard to identify gadgets, including mobile phones and computers and she struggles recognizing a cup of tea, as most of the times she forgets to prepare the tea.

Her family members have struck up notes everywhere in the house, so they can remind her of the lost memories.
