This former astronaut, the first man to walk on moon, is simply built of strong will power and complete confidence. Even at the age of 82-years, Neil Armstrong is tough enough to recover well after his heart surgery, might be that is why he is Mr. Armstrong, his name itself signifies strength.
Carol Armstrong, wife of Neil Armstrong, asserted that within few days after the cardiac bypass surgery, he was able to move out of his bed and comfort himself in a chair, and was easily able to walk down the corridor.
She said: "Neil is amazingly resilient and on track with his rehab schedule. The credit definitely goes to Neil’s drive and the expertise of his doctors”.
A spokesman from NASA had a talk with Carol this Wednesday, when she stated that Neil is recovering. However, her statement was not clear enough to make out where Neil was operated or where he was recovering. Currently, the Armstrong family is putting up in Cincinnati suburb. This Sunday is this pioneering spirit’s birthday.
Well who forgets, that it was Neil Armstrong, who lead the team, which landed first on moon on July 20, 1969. He commanded the Apollo 11 spacecraft, which carried them to the moon.
