Experts are really not understanding why did the NSW Food Authority cleared the new baby formula from Nestle this month despite hearing several parents complaining that the formulae occurred rashes over their baby’s skin and made them suffer from diarrhea.
Learning more parents complaining same issues, NSW Health Minister Ms. Jillian Skinner has referred all the claims to the health department to seek the matter immediately. She has clearly talked about the claims of the parents that a Nestle product is making their babies sick and the company has now offered refunds to hundreds of angry parents.
According to Ms. Skinner’s statements, she has already referred the matter to the state’s Chief Health Officer and Chief Paediatrician since she has heard the complaints from the frustrated parents.
Regarding the matter, Ms. Skinner said, "Correspondence that I have received on this issue has been referred to NSW Health. The NSW Food Authority is looking into this issue and NSW Health will be advised of their findings”.
It has been reported earlier too, to the general public and along with also reported about the Nestle’s offerings of refunds to parents equalizing the cost they spent for the formula.
But on the other hand, a spokeswoman for Nestle said that the company has reimbursed parents just to maintain its goodwill gesture else the product is free from any food safety issues.
