Nokia is leaving no stone unturned to make sure that they become market leaders in the mobile industry. This time, they have bet on Microsoft Corporation's Windows 8 software. The Finnish telecommunications firm has recently announced that they will launch such devices, which will run on Windows 8 software.
It seems that they have had strike bull eye, as Windows 8 is one of the things, which has been acting as centre of attraction of one and all. When the news was revealed to experts, they expressed their view points.
Geoff Blaber, who is a senior analyst at CCS Insight, was of the view that he would consider this opportunity for Nokia as do or die. It was in 2011, when Nokia promised to take certain actions, which will revive its position and launch of Lumia products have done the same. So, it could be said that they have been acting as per their words, now it has to be seen that how fruitful their latest promise is.
Nick Jones, who is the vice president at Gartner, Inc expressed his thoughts as, "Nokia is betting its smartphone future on the Windows phone, so it has to be good. They're trying to be the first on the market with the Windows 8".
