Overheating Fault in Ford Fusion and Escape, Company Recalls the Two ModelsFord has recently issued recall for two of its models, namely Fusion and Escape which are found to have overheating fault in the engines.

The 1.6 liter capacity engines provided along with the two Ford models can eventually catch fire due to overheating. Some fire incidents have already occurred, however, no injuries have been reported of the same as of now.

The notice will recall as much as 73,320 Escape models and 15,833 Fusion models that have been sold out to the dealers already. The motor giant is requesting to contact the local dealers and provide them loaner cars at no cost until the problem if fixed.

As per a statement from Ford, the problem begins with the engine getting overheated, while a message reading "Engine Power Reduced to Lower Temps" or "Engine over temp, stop safely" flashes across the instrument cluster.

Ford is trying to fix the problem as soon as possible. It has circulated a notice stating that if any such event happens to occur with your car, immediately turn the engine off and move out of it. The problem is with two very important considered models of the giant which were expected to dominate the market until the problem was not discovered.
