Alibaba Teams up with CPSC to Increase Product Safety in the US MarketAlibaba, the Chinese e-commerce company has announced that it will now be teaming up with the U. S Consumer Product Safety Commission in order to check the sales of products that have already been considered unsafe to use for American consumers and will see that those are not imported to America.

Alibaba not ship the items ordered from its online platforms which have been recalled in the U. S. Alibaba will get a list of recalled products from the CPSC which should not be sold wither to individuals or to companies in the U. S. According to the CPSC initially the list will contain five to fifteen products which will be extended over time.

Alibaba as an e-commerce site has a good reputation for listings almost all product which any person may want, whether it is legitimate or not.

Alibaba says that it has spent almost $160 million in 2013 and 2014, trying to fight the sales of phony goods being sold through its sites.

CPSC expects that under the recent agreement, the banned listings should be removed from the site within hours after the initial submission.
