Liquid Telecom and MTN Group Partnership will Provide Customers Larger and Bette

MTN Group and Liquid Telecom announced that the two companies are going in for a partnership and will jointly offer a larger and better access to the customers across the African continent.

The partnership covers high speed broadband, wholesale, carrier-to-carrier, enterprise and fixed data services and also allows MTN and Liquid Telecom to access one another's networks in different countries of Africa. This will be beneficial for both as there may be locations where one of the companies might not have presence right now.

Liquid Telecom said that the partnership is a reaction to growing demand from the businesses all over West Africa for broadband services. Wellington Makamure, managing director and group executive for Southern Africa for Liquid Telecom said that the joint venture will allow his company to offer gigabit-speed services and also excellent 24/7 customer service to different businesses.

Makamure said, "The additional countries which Liquid Telecom will now have a presence in are Benin, Cameroon, Congo Brazzaville, Ghana, Guinea Bissau, Guinea Republic, Ivory Coast, Liberia, Nigeria, Sudan, South Sudan and Swaziland."

MTN also said the partnership will allow serving its customers at a wider zone along with keeping the company's commitment for growth.
