Apple AirPods deliveries start in Australia, New Zealand

Recent posts on social networks Twitter and Instagram have revealed that the first Australia and New Zealand customers who had ordered Apple's AirPods wireless headphones started receiving their devices a few hours back, on Monday morning in the two countries.

According to the posts, the AirPods are currently being delivered to the early buyers of the device across Australia and New Zealand. In addition, the Apple retail stores in Australia have also commenced the sales of the AirPods to customers.

However, as was being anticipated, the supplies of the AirPods at Apple's retail stores in Australia are somewhat limited. Only a few units of the AirPods were available for purchase at some stores, though a few stores apparently had more stock of the headphones.

About the projected supply shortages of the AirPods, Apple has said in a last-week statement that stores would start getting "regular shipments" of AirPods with effect from this week; with some third-party retailers like Best Buy also to soon get AirPods stock.

Meanwhile, going by the reaction of the early users of the AirPods in Australia and New Zealand, the pairing process between AirPods and their iPhone is seamless, and the sound quality of the headphones is also apparently much better than expected.
