Rumors claim that Verizon might roll out Android 2.2 Froyo for the Motorola Droid in the recent weeks.

According to the leaked memo release has aimed at July 13th, which seems pretty logical given the rise in stable versions of 2.2 floating around the Web currently. And obviously Motorola's Droid is considered as one of the best selling Android devices of all-time.

A recent finding claims that fans look out for new features and this version grants the wishes.

It offers Flash that comes in-built and also comes with an addition of Wi-Fi tethering.

Apart from this it has Apps2SD, desktop to handset music streaming and a "one-handed camera UI" that completes the list of updates.

In respect with performance a new Dalvik JIT compiler offers 2.2 users a 200-500 percent performance boost over those using 2.1.

Also, the HTML-5 supportive browser proffers a 300 percent performance booster for JavaScript.
