The Wal-Mart plans to pin up underwear’s with RFID tags.
In order to put a stop on the ongoing thefts of underwear and jeans Wal-Mart stores plans to install Radio-frequency identification or RFID tags which will help keep a tack of the products at the same time will aid in catching hold of the individual responsible for the same.
However the next hindrance comes in the form of easy removal of the tags that can easily be done soon after one tries to jerk it the tag gives up. But the tag is useful as not everyone can disable the device which means the individual could easily be tracked with the aid of this device.
Another issue of concern is that retailers can easily scan customers who carry new types of personal ID cards as they walk across the floor without slightest idea of the same. This apparently is one of the topmost concerns of the privacy advocates.
Most of the stores in Washington and New York, have already been offering the new innovations such as driver's licenses that have radio- frequency tags attached with unique ID numbers, to make border crossings an easy option for frequent travelers.
Hope that it works just fine for the number one retailer and at the same time lower the rate of shop lifting cases.
