Autism and MMR vaccine link criticized

MMR-vaccineDr Andrew Wakefield and other doctors who claimed after conducting a research that a MMR vaccine that was aimed at preventing measles, mumps and rubella can cause autism has been censured by the General Medical Council in Great Britain.

Wakefield denied the allegations that were put on him and other doctors.

There are more than 5,500 claims that have been filed and it has been ruled out by a special U. S. court that measles vaccine is not to blame for cases of autism.

Further links between autism and measles vaccine has also been criticized by the new research. Also it has been now proved that autism is not caused by the MMR vaccine.

Taking samples of children’s intestines was retested by U. S. researchers and they stated that autism was not created by the vaccine.

Parents of many children stated that they had fears of the vaccine causing autism and due to this measles cases in the U. S. are at the highest level in more than a decade.

British doctors, Dr. Andrew Wakefield, Dr. John Walker-Smith and Dr. Simon Murch, will now face hearings for professional misconduct as the link they tried to create is not true.
