Nestle China Denying Researchers for their Report

Nestle China Denying Researchers for their Report The Nestle China spoke loudly against the report revealed by researchers in Sweden that their baby food stuffs such as rice porridge are not safe for infants and contains highly toxic ingredients.

According to the story published in the China Daily, Nestle China claimed that its products are toxin free thus, absolutely safe for consumption and comply with all Nordic and European standards. In addition, all the products are examined and supervised by the Chinese authorities before their launch in the market and quality as well as safety of products is one of our top priorities.

The researchers in Sweden conducted an authoritative toxic test on baby foods and observed some of the products with lethal contaminants including arsenic, lead and cadmium. Further, food manufacturers including Nestle and Organix were marked with bad quality of baby products and it was also suggested that their regular intake may increase infant’s exposure to arsenic up to 50 times when compared to breast feeding. Also the consumption increases the chances of contracting cancer.

A professor from the College of Food Science and Nutritional Engineering with the China Agricultural University, He Jiguo, said that there is nothing to be worried about as the level of arsenic meets national standards.
