Flydubai to begin Khartoum service from November 8

Flydubai, leading Dubai-based first low-cost airline, has decided to commence daily flights to the Sudanese capital, Khartoum, from November 8, 2009.

The sources informed the flight to Khartoum will cost just Dh325 one way, inclusive of taxes comprising one piece of hand baggage weighing up to 10kg.

Sources added that Sudan is a country with enormous potential for economic development as well as financial growth. The country is also working hard to ensure there are major business opportunities, which are attractive to businessmen in the UAE.

The route also provides more opportunities for Sudanese expats working in Dubai in order to meet families as well as friends more often.

The other seven routes which are included in flydubai's network are Beirut-Lebanon, Amman-Jordan, Damascus and Aleppo-Syria, Alexandria-Egypt, Djibouti-Africa and Doha-Qatar.
