Last April, Tesla launched its Powerwall batteries and within weeks it was sold out, booked till the middle of 2016. The pre-order demand that time was described as "crazy off the hook" by Elon Musk, Tesla's CEO. Telsa fetched about 38,000 orders then.

Looking at the success of it giant batteries, the company is thinking about an update. It was Musk himself who told about the plans in Paris during a recent Q&A session which he had with the Tesla car owners.
