Permission Mandatory to Import, Sell and Acquire High-Powered Laser Pointers

New regulations have been taken out as which those who are interested in importing, selling and acquiring high-powered laser pointers will now be required to take permission from the Ministry of Health.

Associate Health Minister Jo Goodhew said the changes will come into action from March. She affirmed that high-powered laser pointers can cause problems like eye injuries, eye blindness and skin burns.
