Bloomberg: Apple will likely eliminate the home button on 2017 iPhone

According to a Bloomberg report, the 2017 model of the Apple iPhone will probably come without the iconic home button.

Apple's reported decision to do away with the home button -- to which Apple fans have become accustomed over the last nearly ten years -- on the 2017 iPhone version is apparently a part of the company's dramatic revamp of the iPhone.

Even with Relaxed California Drought Rules Residents Continue Conserving Water

It was two months ago that Governor Jerry Brown's administration decided to relax drought rule in California but a new set of data show that careful Californians still continue saving significant amounts of water.

 Data released on Tuesday by the State Water Resources Control Board showed that all over the California, urban residents trimmed their water use 21.5 percent in June when compared to the same period in 2013. In May this year, the residents saved 28.1 percent water by cutting down their usage.

Amgen Inc’s Second Quarter Profit Surpasses Analysts’ Estimates; Company Raises Full Year Forecast

Thousand Oaks, California based Amgen Inc reported second-quarter profit of $1.87 billion and raised its outlook for the complete year. It expects revenue for the full year to be in a range of $22.5 billion to $22.8 billion, compared to the earlier predictions of revenue in a range of $22.2 to $22.6 billion, in April.

Advanced Micro Devices Second Quarter Earnings Report Beat Analysts’ Estimation

Advanced Micro Devices Inc, the Sunnyvale, California based semiconductor company announced its second quarter earnings report and came out with flying colors.

Thursday's report showed that the chip maker earned a quarterly profit and also marked its first sales increase in almost two years. The gain is mainly attributed to increasing sales of customized chips supplied to videogame makers and also a rising demand for its recent graphics products.
