Fiat Chrysler Says Dealer’s Lawsuit is “Baseless”

Napleton Automotive Group filed a lawsuit in January against Fiat Chrysler Automobiles NV that alleges the auto maker of inflating the sales report for its new-vehicles. But the automaker lashed back saying the lawsuit is "baseless" and accused the Illinois car dealer of blaming the carmaker for its own shortcomings of not being able to meet the minimum car sale deadline.

AFL to start using hair test as part of illicit drugs policy

The AFL has indicated that it will start using hair tests as part of its illicit drugs policy to check use of illegal drugs in the league.

Football boss Mark Evans said that the league will use positive hair testsas a strike against players under the illicit drugs policy. He said that the test will soon be used as a part of AFL's three strikes policy. The hair test was introduced in 2015 while the season was running aiming to collect data on drug use within the league and for target testing. The teste was conducted only in the off-season until previous year.

Barrick Gold’s CFO Leaving the Company to Lead New Streaming Venture

On Wednesday, Toronto-based Barrick Gold said its chief financial officer and senior executive vice president Shaun Usmar, will leave the company to pursue a leading role in a new mine financing venture that is backed by Elliott Management, an U. S. hedge fund. The new venture which will be lead by Shaun Usmar is focused on royalty, streaming as well as other forms of investments related to the mining industry. Usmar had taken over as finance chief of Barrick around one year ago.

Virgin America’s First San Francisco -Denver Direct Flight Flew with Richard Branson on board on Tuesday

Virgin America which has earned the top rank as an U. S. airline for three consecutive years landed its first direct flight at the Denver International Airport from San Francisco with Richard Branson, Virgin Group's founder on board.

The flight is a part of an expansion plan to bridge the West Coast with the Rocky Mountains. On Tuesday, with its inaugural flight, the airline announced three nonstop flights daily between the two cities.

Government approves plans for neo-natal baby care unit in north Wales

The Welsh Government has announced its decision to approve plans to set up a new neo-natal baby care unit in north Wales.Health Minister Mark Drakeford approved plans for setting up the Sub Regional Neonatal Intensive Care Centre.The outline business case for the unit has been approved by Prof Drakeford and the BetsiCadwaladr University Health Board ahs been allowed the required finding for the unit.
