World’s Largest Yacht in Dubai

World-Largest-Yacht-In-DubaiDubai makes yet another record with its largest ever private yacht originally dubbed as Platinum 525. The project, commissioned by Prince Jefri Bolkiah of Brunei, had been delaying since 1996 due to lack of funds.

The project was later taken in 2001 by Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, then Crown Prince and now ruler of Dubai, under the name Gold Star. The 531 feet yacht has been prepared with an investment of 300 million US dollars, the largest ever investment made for any yacht. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the ruler of the Emirate of Dubai, and the Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates are currently the owners of the mega yacht.

It is equipped with modern amenities including three elevators serving all the decks, a large formal dining area, variety of pools, hot tubs, sunbathing areas, and a big swimming platform. The yacht's deck is also provided with air conditioning facility for combating the hot Dubai weather.

The mega yacht Dubai houses a large number of water toys a squash room, spa, and an ultra modern yacht helicopter pad.
