NHS to Undergo Changes
With the beginning of a new month, the NHS bosses will also be beginning a new journey towards improving the health care services of the NHS. Today, the patients seeking treatment at the NHS hospital might not witness changes and improvement. But, after few months, these changes will leave an impression over the life of many patients.
NHS has been providing care services to the patients since 1948. Now, it is a time when it should go through some of the magnificent changes so that quality care services to the patients could e provided. The NHS commissioning board will be utilizing £85bn of public money into health care improvement plans.
Out of £85 billion about £60 billion will be given to the clinical commissioning groups. The clinical commissioning groups will utilize the money towards improving the health services for the ever growing population. Rest of the money will be invested towards improving the services of dentistry, ophthalmology and of neuroscience services.
It is hoped that with the investment, the NHS commissioning group will be able to bring significant changes in the health care services. The opening paragraph of the NHS Principles and values read, “The NHS belongs to the people. It is there to improve our health and wellbeing…. when care and compassion are what matter most”.
