There has been no mention regarding the terms and conditions included in the deal. With this new deal EMC has joined with it another system which will be a part of its developing security.
This California based Silver Tail Systems develops technology, which focuses on the behavior, that helps banks and people who are indulged in online business to administer if there is any fraud or helps detect any doubtful activity on the web.
RSA claims that Silver Tail's technology is based on an enormous data approach to assess the huge amount of data and hence, assist the user with an immediate access to the Web sessions.
Although, the system has been taken over by EMC, it will be a part of the EMC's RSA security division and will be functional as an independent unit.
Sean Brady, Director of RSA's identity and data protection business unit, said, "The ability to get context into what users are doing online or in the network and apply controls is something we think is potentially very revolutionary".
