Consumers Need to Subscribe on Yearly Basis to have Access to Microsoft’s Office 365 Home Premium

Consumers Need to Subscribe on Yearly Basis to have Access to Microsoft’s Office 365 Home Premium As per the new expectations, the users are asking Microsoft to make the availability of its Office 365 Home Premium on the other rivals platforms of Apple, Google Android and iOS as well so that all the users across world can experience the similar experience of using mobiles.

But away from the expectations, the bigger highlight about this premium home edition of office is its price which was highlighted extensively in its recent launch that it would be available only on the yearly subscription basis.

Regional director of Office marketing at Microsoft Asia-Pacific Reed Wotiz pointed out on all the speculation by saying that, "The price of the Office 365 subscription reflects the value you get. One subscription serves the entire household. It includes the latest and most complete set of Office applications [and] works across up to five devices, including Windows tablets, PCs and Macs".

And negating the point made by Wotiz, research vice president and distinguished analyst at Gartner Michael Silver is of the view that the consumers are not used to pay the yearly based fee system for office productivity suites and the price of $138 a year would prove to be higher than they expect.
