‘Ask Your Pharmacist week’ coming up in Milton Keynes
NHS Milton Keynes Clinical Commissioning Group is going to organise the `Ask Your Pharmacist week' starting today and is going to use this chance to educate people to go ahead and seek more help from their local chemist.
Most of the people are unaware of the extra information which can be given out by every chemist which is why they just treat them as people who can give prescriptions and that were it.
They give away free professional advice on an extensive variety of health issues, suggestions for self-mind and solutions to treat regular objections, for example flus and colds, influenza, sore throats, ear infection, spinal pain, stomach upsets and cuts and bruises.
"Pharmacists are exceedingly qualified medicinal services experts who have embraced five years of training and preparing for this pro part", said Janet Corbett, head drug specialist and partner chief of conversion and conveyance for NHS Milton Keynes Clinical Commissioning Group.
She added that therefore these professionals have the knowledge to give prescriptions and information about medicines available over the counter.
They are also made to participate in local health promotion campaigns.
