Dubai to open remaining metro station in a few months
Today, Roads & Transport Authority told in an e-mailed statement that the remaining 18 stations of its first metro line would be opened by Dubai in the next few months.
It said that on April 30th the authority will open seven of these stations, while on May 15 the three other and remaining eight stations in the months that follow.
As per the statement, in the month of September, the first line, called the Red Line, was opened partially, which carries on average 80,000 passengers a day. It's said, in August 2011 the second line, called Green Line, is predictable to open.
