Project Canvas date of release finalised
The Project Canvas will soon be unveiled following a decision later this month, as reported by the BBC.
It follows from misinterpreted reports from the Simon Pitts where the Project Canvas was hoping to engage content providers by September.
It is stated that following the favorable conditions there will be a three month timeline leading to an initial launch during September after that viewers can expect to see the project to roll on.
Simon Pitts the controller of strategy at ITV stated, "Following the BBC Trust's approval, partners will be found in July and then the technical specs can be defined and shared in August."
This essential move has gained an overall support by the BBC, ITV, Channel 4, Five, BT, TalkTalk and Arqiva and is soon to be upped by the Freeview and Freesat digital TV service.
In the meantime as a matter of fact the theorizing of the same will be made available to all ISPs.
