UAE investors looking for investment in IndiaLabour Minister of United Arab Emirates Saqr Ghobash Saeed Ghobash backed strong business and commercial ties with India adding that UAE investors are eagerly looking for investment opportunities in India. Mr. Ghobash is currently on his official tour to India. He is expected to meet commerce delegations and government functionaries in order to enhance business cooperation between two nations.

Earlier, he held talks with Kerala Chief Minister Oommen Chandy and Industries Minister P. K. Kunhalikutty and praised Keralites working in the UAE for their dedication, hard work and their role in uplifting the UAE society. He pledged to do everything possible for defending the interests of Indians working in UAE.

Mr. Ghobash said, “We will do a better job with the formation of the joint committee proposed under the revised Memorandum of Understanding on Manpower signed with India.”

Both nations earlier revised the Memorandum of Understanding on Manpower. The MoU was signed by the Labour Minister and Union Minister of Overseas Indian Affairs and Civil Aviation Vayalar Ravi in Delhi on Tuesday.

Mr. Chandy promised to provide best human resource for the UAE and suggested the use of the services of the official agency, Overseas Development and Employment Promotion Consultants.
