Arik Air flights to roll out flights from Abu Dhabi International Airport
Arik, Nigeria's largest international carrier finally rolled out its flight to Abu Dhabi International Airport, bringing joy for a large number of people demanding services from the airline. The light will connect the UAE capital to the city of Lagos and formally begin on Tuesday 29th November this year.
It will operate three non-stop weekly flights departing from Abu Dhabi every Sunday, Wednesday and Friday at 8:00 am through an Airbus A340-500, having a capacity to accommodate 237 people. The jet is equipped with all modern facilities such as full flat bed seats and an advanced in-flight entertainment system with 17 inch monitors.
James E. Bennett, Chief Executive Officer at Abu Dhabi Airports Company, expressed joy over the development and congratulated Arik Air for becoming the first West African carrier to operate to Abu Dhabi International.
He went on to add, “The capital's airport operator is working closely with various airlines to support their development initiatives that will ultimately benefit Abu Dhabi International Airport passengers with more choices. We look to more growth on the route between West Africa and Abu Dhabi travelers and business."
